Delete your Traneos account
Traneos lets you permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time. You can delete your whole account — yourself in the app or by email — or remove only specific data while keeping your account.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself (fastest)
- Open the Traneos mobile app, or the web app at traneos.com, and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Security → Delete Account.
- Type your account email address to confirm, then choose Delete Account.
Your account is deleted immediately and permanently.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Email privacy@traneos.com from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete my account.” We’ll verify the request and process it within 30 days.
Delete only specific data (without deleting your account)
If you want to remove particular records but keep your account, you can delete most data directly in the app without contacting us:
- Clients— open a client’s profile and use the delete action to permanently remove the client and their records (payments, progress logs, body metrics, diet plans, schedules, and photos).
- Individual records— delete a single payment, progress log, body-metric reading, diet plan, workout schedule, or reminder from that item’s menu on the client’s profile.
- Photos and files— remove your profile photo, business logo, or a client’s avatar and progress photos from the relevant screen.
You can also email privacy@traneos.com from your account’s email address to request that specific data be removed. We’ll verify the request and process it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account — or an account you own — we permanently remove:
- Your profile — name, email address, and password.
- If you’re an organization owner — all of your organization’s data: clients, plans, payments, invoices, progress logs, body metrics, diet plans, schedules, reminders, and waivers.
- All uploaded files — client photos, progress photos, avatars, and business logos — from our storage.
Any active subscription is cancelled as part of the deletion.
What we keep, and for how long
- Records we are legally required to retain — for example invoice and tax records needed for GST compliance — are kept for the statutory retention period, then deleted or de-identified.
- Residual copies in our encrypted backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.
